Mark J. Richards, Founder and CEO
Mark Richards has been immersed in the technology business for more than 28 years. For over 10 years, he built and deployed Internet systems, in addition to working for more than three years at Bankers Trust on Wall Street.
Specializing in IT Governance and Technology assessments, Richards has experience on the software and hardware side; he is platform agnostic. He helps clients rethink their web channel strategy, in relation to new media and growth drivers. Mark Richards is a strategic thinker who specializes in aligning a company’s growth drivers with technology.
Mark Richards has extensive client experience, including the City of New Haven Connecticut, Electronic Data Systems, Avon, Con Edison of New York, Gen Re, GE, IBM, Coldwell Banker, Bankers Trust, Certco, Simon & Schuster, Pearson, Nabisco, Herbalife, Shaklee Corporation, Orbitex Retirement Services, L.L.Bean, MoMA, HealthMarkets, Veolia Environmental Services, TIAA-CREF, Towers Watson, Enzon Pharmaceuticals and McGraw-Hill Comstock.
He also led the team that built Nabisco’s eBusiness Technical Architecture, which served content for more than 110 imprints built from their e-commerce sites. In the role of technical architect Mark and his team designed and implemented both Simon & Schuster’s and Pearson’s major e-commerce systems. Projects like this have extended his database experience in Sybase and Oracle.
Actively involved in the community, Mark Richards is a member of the Fairfield-Westchester Society for Information Management (FWSIM) and CEORoundtable, he has also been featured in eWeek. He also serves on the board of directors for the School of Engineering at the University of Bridgeport. Richards is a graduate of The Juilliard School, Yale University and SUNY Purchase College. He now lives in Fairfield County with his wife and three children.
Doreen F. Gebbia, President
Doreen Gebbia is the president and majority owner of eRichards Consulting, LLC. Prior to joining eRichards, Doreen owned and operated Doreen Gebbia Associates, an agency that represented photographers internationally. For 15 years, she honed her skills in sales and marketing, while overseeing projects with leading advertising agencies, retailers and publishing houses. A short list of her clients included: Estée Lauder, Campbell’s, Gillette, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Scholastic and Kraft Foods.
At eRichards, Doreen focuses on Business Development and Account Management, using her expertise in sales, marketing and management to strengthen the company. She interviews clients in-depth to ensure that their needs are carefully evaluated and understood to achieve the best business solutions. As a result, Doreen plays a major role in the successful communication between eRichards and its clients.
Creating synergistic business relationships, leading project teams and serving Fortune 500 clients has established Doreen Gebbia as a leader in maintaining long-lasting relationships to advance eRichards as a primary consulting firm.
Doreen Gebbia is a member in good standing with the Women President's Association (WPA), the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the Fairfield/Westchester Society of Information Management (FWSIM). She is on the board of the Entrepreneurial Women's Network (EWN) as director of continuing education.
Dan Coutu, Director of Engineering and Solutions
Dan Coutu has been recognized as a team leader of winning eCommerce, content management, database driven web-based business systems, and other eBusiness. He has also architected and coded cost-effective solutions in complex business and computing environments by collaborating with all levels of client personnel.
Before joining the eRichards team, Coutu was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of iCOMS, an eCommerce services company. In this capacity, his leadership and technical strength established iCOMS as the world's experts on the Open Market Transact eCommerce. Coutu worked on hundreds of eCommerce and CRM projects, often as the project leader. Some of iCOMS' clients included Sony Style, Lycos, Bank of Boston, MyFamily.com, Houghton-Mifflin and Random House.
Although Coutu has had many successful business engagements, one of his most successful was the implementation of a customer relationship management (CRM) system, based on the integration of SalesForce.com with a legacy corporate database. He architected a complete solution, then implemented the necessary integration code to cross-connect the systems.
Dan Coutu’s calm demeanor and advanced technical skills are well-suited to meeting stakeholder requirements through the design and delivery of architectures. He delivers innovative results on time to highly satisfied clients.
Chetna Kagtada, Recruiter
Our recruiter Chetna Kagtada is a competent and experienced recruiter in global environments with solid business and human resources experience. She specializes in recruiting for information-technology professionals in permanent, full-time, direct-hire positions or contract positions. Prior to joining eRichards, she worked for Celerity Technology Services, Inc. Chetna holds a BA in International Business from University of Lincoln, UK. She is also holds a Certificate in Human Resources Management from NYU.
Frank Natale, Senior Infrastructure Engineer
As a senior technical engineer, Frank Natale has an extensive background in infrastructure and more than 5 years of experience in engineering and implementation. His strong leadership skills help him manage, perform and architect security solutions for network topologies and complex computer systems.
Natale provides hands-on project management and security expertise to internal security projects and new technology initiatives. He specializes in Windows 2000 Active Directory, Exchange 2000 and Checkpoint NDS. As a team leader, he has completed many domestic and global implementations for Windows 2000 Active Directory and Exchange migrations.
Frank Natale is highly regarded for his approachable demeanor and easygoing manner. He guides, designs and configures enterprise level systems in collaboration with the internal business administration, engineers and customers. His excellent people skills create a strong loyalty with eRichards clients.
